Naming Information Cannot Be Located Because The Specified Domain Windows 2000 Active Directory?

Windows 2000 Active Directory? - naming information cannot be located because the specified domain

I try to access the console of the MA. However, I have this message:
"Naming information can not be found because:
The specified domain either does not exist or could not be reached.
Please contact the system administrator to ensure that your domain is properly configured and online "

How can I determine this?

Thanks

Open the Active Directory Users and Computers console. Click where it says "Active Directory Users ..." In the left pane and click on "Connect to Domain Controller. Try to connect you to a domain controller available.

This does not succeed, try this:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/887431

If you still have problems, please check the event log on the DC, especially at the system log. You see, if something is not right.

Cheers.
